Royal Cruiser, Eastern India’s leading Volvo service will begin its operation from Kolkata to Mayapur on August 15th, 2008. Right now, the cruiser will operate on friday, saturday and sunday from ISKCON Kolkata. The bus arrives at Mayapur by 10 a.m. and departs to Kolkata at 4 p.m. Mr.Dhananjay Singh, Managing Director of Royal Cruiser expressed his happiness to expand their services to Mayapur. He along with few dignitaries will visit Mayapur on their first day of operation.

Please make a note of change in Sri Mayapur Chandrodaya Mandir's morning program timings. Hereafter Mangla Arati will be at 4.30 a.m. instead of 4.15 a.m. Darshan Arati (deities greeting) will be as usual at 7.00 a.m. followed by Srila Prabhupada GuruPuja. There is a change in Srimad Bhagavatham class timing from 8 a.m. to 7:45 a.m. and will end by 8:45 a.m. Our Live video streaming of Mangla Arati will start at 4.30 a.m. Evening program remains as it is.

The Board, Staff and Students of Sri Mayapur International School (SMIS) organised a memorable farewell for their outgoing principal, Lalita Mataji on Friday 25 July 2008. Pankhajanghri Prabhu unveiled a plaque in recognition of Lalita mataji's 16 years of outstanding service in the field of education. In his talk Pankhajanghri Prabhu brought out the fact that Lalita mataji was a very determined lady who went through many trails, passed many tests and accomplished a lot during her long tenure in Sri Mayapur.

Sri Jagananth, Baladeva and Subhadra’s chariots rolled in Jamshedpur for the second time, benedicting the onlookers and devotees who enthusiastically participated in the festival. This successful Ratha Yatra was organized with the help of ISKCON devotees and locals joining hands together. 50 devotees from Sri Mayapur and Namhatta bramhacari devotees attended the Ratha Yatra. Local people were enthused to see many western devotees embracing the vedic tradition especially little Radhika with sari and tilaka attracted everyone.

Kadamba is a fragrant and beautiful solid flower, which is round in shape. The flower especially grows in Vrindavan and Mayapur. Recently, a week ago in Mayapur, sweet fragrance of Kadamba flowers filled the air. As you walk around the campus, Kadamba trees full of beautiful round white flowers like snow balls is a scenic delight. For the divine pleasure of the Lord, devotees lovingly offer Kadamaba garlands and bouquets. Kadamba flowers can be seen only for few days in a year. Krishna enjoys His rasa dance underneath the kadamba tree.

Sri Jagannatha, Sri Baladeva and Subhadra devi made their way back in a colorful chariot procession to Sri Rajapur after accepting the worship in MayapurChandrodaya Mandir for nine days. The celebration is traditionally known as ‘Ulta Rath’ where Lord Jagannatha after being in Vrindavan (Gundica Mandir), goes back to Nilachala(His temple). On the fifth day after Ratha Yatra, Hera Pancami is observed where Sri Lakshmiji comes to Gundica Mandir whereLord Jagannath gives His association to her and promises to return back.

The disciples of H.H. Bhakti Tirtha Swami Maharaj organized a grand disappearance day festival in honor of H.H. Bhakti Tirtha Swami's glorious life and departure from this world.The day began with Shastra prabhu leading the guru puja prayers during the morning program. The morning festivities also included a special treat-the entire Mayapur community was served sweet rice Prasad in honor of Maharaja!
