Support Belpukur Temple

In Belpukur (a place in Simantadvipa island of Navadvipa), there is a beautiful Deity of Sri Madan Gopala which was worshiped by Sri Nilambara Chakravarty, the maternal grandfather of Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu.

Every year during the Navadvipa mandala Parikrama, devotees visit this place. The present Temple here is very small and it houses only the altar. So, the pilgrims have to sit in the open.

To facilitate the devotional service of future pilgrims, 'Bhaktivedanta Swami Charity Trust' of Mayapur, Nadia is constructing a new Nata Mandira at this place. It was the desire of Srila Bhaktivinoda Thakura that these holy pastime places of the Lord be re-established. Srila Bhakti Siddhanta Saraswati Thakura also discovered some pastime places like Suvarna Vihar, Srivas Angan and established Gaudiya mathas in those holy places. Along the same line, this trust started by Abhaya Caranaravinda Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada aims to establish a Temple at Belpukur.

The structural work of the Temple is over after spending about seven lakh rupees. It needs another six lakh rupees to finish. We humbly request you to grab this opportunity to serve the most glorious, merciful and auspicious Navadvipa dhama and future pilgrims with your generous donations.
