66th Vyasa puja celebration of HH Jaypataka Swami Maharaj took place in Sri Mayapur dham from 30th March to 1st April. Many of His disciples came to Mayapur on this occasion.
An adhivas ceremony took place on 30th evening to invoke auspiciousness. As is the custom, 24 items were offered to HH Jaypataka Swami Maharaj during adhivas. The program started in Prabhupada Park but due to heavy rain it had to be moved to Temple hall.
Vyasa puja celebration took place on 31st March (Ekadasi). There was a special Nrisimhadev puja for Maharaj in morning. Then there was glorification of Maharaj for most part of the day. First it was done by Srila Prabhupada’s disciples and later by His senior disciples who had come from different parts of India and abroad. Maharaj also gave a lecture around noon time.
Maharaj’s disciples made different types of offerings of love to Him. First, a big Vyasa puja offering book was offered to Maharaj. The book had offerings of His disciples all over the world. Both on 31st March and 1st April afternoon, hundreds of bhogas (food stuffs) were offered to HH Jaypataka Maharaj. A huge cake was also offered to Maharaj on 31st March. He offered them to Srila Prabhupada’s deity in Temple hall. Later, there were feasts for all devotees. On 31st there was an ekadasi feast while on 1st April, there was a dvadasi feast. Moreover, His disciples from different parts of the world had sponsored Bhagavad Gita on His behalf. On the Vyasa puja day, the Gita sponsorship score were read out to Maharaj. On 31st evening, His disciples offered Him more gifts. A dance event also took place in honor of Maharaj in the late evening.
In addition to above events, there was a special thanks giving on 31st to those who contributed to Maharaj’s health recovery. Dr. Shiv Kumar Sarin (a world famous liver specialist) was especially honoured and thanked for treating Maharaj in Delhi. Others who were thanked include Mr. Shrivatsav for hosting Maharaj and His servants in Delhi, Divya Mataji from Italy and Ranga Narayan prabhu from Andhra Pradesh for contributing financially, Nitai Charan prabhu from UK for helping in procurement of medicines from Europe and Sarvojay Madhav prabhu from Dallas for getting an insurance for Maharaj. Last but not the least, there was a special thanks to all His personal servants who took His care 24 by 7.
HG Sankarsan Nitai Prabhu and HH Bhakti Purusottama Maharaj played key role in facilitating the event. Some of the images of this event can be viewed above.

La celebración de HH Jaypataka Swami Maharaj en el Templo de Caracas Venezuela estuvo muy emotiva y con gran participación de sus discípulos y devotos de Srila Prabhupada de Guru Prashak Swami y Virabhaju Maharaj ,también fue un gran momento para la entrega de un reconocimiento por parte del Ministerio de cultos y creencia del Gobierno de Venezuela al movimiento de la conciencia de krisna la orden BUEN CIUDADANO ,y ser un gran ejemplo para la ciudadanía seguido de esto varios devotos leyeron pasatiempos de GM y después un gran banquete
