TOVP Seva Office Inauguration

1st February, 2015: Inauguration of Temple of Vedic Planetorium (TOVP) seva office took place in Mayapur on the auspicious Nityananda Trayodasi day. The office shall be used for managing fund raising for the TOVP project. HG Radha Jivan Prabhu mentioned that this day has been chosen to inaugurate as Lord Nityananda prophesized an ‘adbhuta-mandira’ that would spread service to Lord Gauranga throughout the world (gauranga nitya-seva haibe vikasa). Right after Guru puja, deity of Srila Prabhupada was taken in an elephant procession to the TOVP seva office. Devotees danced and performed kirtana on the way. Many sanyasis and GBC members were present on the occasion. Arati of Srila Prabhupada was performed and a large cake with TOVP image was offered to Srila Prabhupada. He has contributed $25 million personally and urged devotees all over the world to contribute to the project. It was noteworthy that in 2014 devotees contributed $ 8.5 million for TOVP and promised to contribute in future. HG Bhavananda Prabhu emphasized that we are doing this project for Srila Prabhupada. HG Radha Jivan Prabhu told reminded devotees of Srila Prabhupada’s sacrifice for the world 25 years back to travel in Jaladuta and requested devotees to sacrifice for TOVP.   After that, HG Ambarisa Prabhu and HG Anuttama Prabhu did the ribbon cutting.
