W ith great pleasure ISKCON Mayapur invites all of you to join the most merciful parikrama, in the most merciful dham of the most merciful of all incarnations, Sri Gauranga Mahaprabhu. As the Lord is an ocean of mercy, so is His dhama.

Walking in Sri Navadvipa Dhama is the greatest opportunity to make the Supreme Connection. This is the event where the Lord and His pure devotees are specially eager to give their association, and there is no qualification required to receive Their mercy. Just come!

By camping we will immerse ourselves in Krsna kirtan and Krsna katha. This is the chance to feel our real identity, close to the eternally blissful nature of Navadvipa. This is our home!

Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu said: “By chanting this mantra I’ve become a madman, dancing, laughing and crying. I think it is covering my spiritual knowledge”. Upon hearing this statement, Isvara Puri smiled and said: “My dear child this is the effect of the maha mantra. Anyone who chants It feels loving ecstasy towards Lord Krsna.”

Srila Rupa Goswami said: “I do not know how much nectar the two syllables ‘Krs-na’ have produced….when I chant It, I desire many many mouths and when I hear It I desire millions of ears”.

Please join the kirtan and realise the words of the acharyas by your own experience.

Sravanam – hearing- is the first process of devotional service. By hearing we are able to connect to the other eight processes. Moreover the nine islands of Sri Navadvipa are closely connected to the nine processes of devotional service.

“Parikrama means to dive all the senses at once in full Bhakti practice. It is a complete absorption. Thus the devotees experience full Krsna consciousness and this sensation conquers the mind. That is the main reason why the acharyas emphasised the performance of Parikrama. It is very important.”
