The Radhastami festival this year was an unforgettable experience! The temple hall was fully packed with devotees, and the atmosphere was buzzing with joy and devotion as we all came together to honor Srimati Radharani’s appearance day. There’s no doubt that Radha is truly merciful. As Srila Prabhupada once said, “If you approach Krishna directly, He may be hard to reach. But if you go through Srimati Radharani, she will recommend you to Krishna, and Krishna cannot refuse her.”
This year’s Radhastami had such a different energy compared to Janmashtami, and it’s beautiful how these two celebrations played out. During Janmashtami, it rained for days leading up to the festival and all through the morning. For Mangal Arati on Krishna’s appearance day, only a handful of devotees were able to attend, as the rain poured down heavily. It felt almost as if Krishna wanted a quieter, more intimate birthday. Throughout the day, the rain continued, making the whole celebration feel very private and personal, as if Krishna Himself was choosing to keep it that way. As the Bhagavad Gita reminds us, “The ways of the Lord are beyond human understanding.”
But in contrast, Radhastami was the complete opposite! The temple was packed from the moment Mangal Arati began, and there wasn’t a single spot left for more devotees. It felt like Srimati Radharani was personally drawing everyone in, pouring out her mercy and blessings on all who came to celebrate her day. The energy was so lively and joyful, and you could feel that Radha’s grace had touched every corner of the festival.
On this blessed day, the schedule for the 2025 Gaura Purnima Festival was officially presented. The festival, one of the most anticipated of the year, was shared with the divine couple for their blessings, ensuring that Srimati Radharani will oversee the preparations and that everything will go smoothly with her mercy. After all, it is only through her blessings that we can truly serve Krishna.
We encourage all devotees to spread the word and get ready for the upcoming festival season. With Srimati Radharani’s blessings, we trust the year will be filled with divine energy and grace, bringing us all together in devotion. Let’s come together to celebrate these sacred moments and prepare our hearts for Gaura Purnima 2025!
Jai Srimati Radharani Ki Jai
