Deity Worship

S ri Mayapur Chandrodaya Mandir, the spiritual headquarters of the International Society for Krishna Consciousness, graciously hosts and worships the following Deities

Sri Sri Radha-Madhava and eight sakhis

To Sri Madhava’s right are (in order) Lalita, Campakalata, Citra and Tungavidya. To Sri Radha’s left are (in order) Visakha, Indulekha, Rangadevi and Sudevi.

Sri Sri Pancha-tattva

Sri Gauranga Mahaprabhu is at the center. To Mahaprabhu’s right are (in order) Sri Nityananda Prabhu and Sri Advaita Prabhu. To Mahaprabhu’s left are (in order) Sri Gadadhara Prabhu and Sri Srivasa Thakura.

Sri Sri Prahlada-Nrsimhadeva

These Deities reside at the Radha Madhava temple complex.

Sri Sri Gaura-Nitai

These deities were taken on a pada-yatra of India, and they now reside in Srila Prabhupada’s Bhajan Kutir.

Srila Prabhupada

The pushpa samadhi of HDG A. C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Srila Prabhupada has been established in Mayapur and daily worship is performed.
