Donate Srimad Bhagavatam this Bhadra month!
People are suffering in this material world due to their lack of this transcendental knowledge. By distributing Srimad Bhagavatam , Srimad Bhagavad Gita books you can help to save a soul and by giving this knowledge to others you can also become dear to Lord Sri Krishna. Giving scriptures to others is an act of the greatest charity and it gives immerse benefits to all party involves.
Thus, the purpose of Shastra Daan is to enable you to participate directly in the missionary activities of distributing Srila Prabhupada's books by sponsoring them to those who can not afford it. By placing donated books in locations where they are properly kept and read, such as tribal villages, Libraries, Schools, Colleges, Universities, Hotels, Hospital waiting rooms, and other public areas. ISKCON Mayapur Sankirtan department go to villages to distribute this books , along with preaching programs.
This month, being Bhadra month is very special as stated in Srimad Bhagavatam as follows:
“If on the month of Bhadra one places Srimad-Bhagavatam on a golden throne and gives it as a gift, he will attain the supreme transcendental destination.”
