Pārśva Ekadashi falls in the bright fortnight (śukla pakṣa) of the month of Bhādrapada. It is said that this sacred vrata removes all sins and bestows the same spiritual merit as performing the Vājapeya sacrifice. 

Observing Ekadashi is not only about fasting but about immersing the mind and heart in service, chanting, and remembrance of the Lord. Even a small act of devotion performed on this day is multiplied in its benefit.
