Lord’s Darshan

Abhishek

On 21st September was the auspicious appearance day of Srimati Radharani. Since 15th Sep, there was katha in Temple in Her glorification. To celebrate Her appearance, many devotees came to Mayapur. Radha Madhav Temple Hall was jam packed with devotees since darshan arati time in the morning. After darshan arati, there were bhajans and kirtan which continued for the whole day. Musical instruments such as violins, mrdangas, flutes and kartalas added a special touch to the kirtan. From 10:30 am to 12 noon, there was Abhishek of Radha Madhav utsav murtis with garlands and other ingredients such as milk, yogurt, honey, juices and water. Devotees gladly accepted the Lord’s carnamrita. Next, Their Lordships Sri Sri Radha Madhav were offered hundreds of bhoga followed by a Maha Arati. Finally, thousands of pilgrims and Mayapur community devotees happily accepted feast prasadam glorifying Srimati Radharani.
